In all our history, this hasn’t been a problem, but suddenly libraries having books is a major issue in every part of the country the GOP has any power. I really hope voters clearly realize what they’re doing… but I have little faith in Ohio elections.

In the mid 1950s - I was around 10 and our community was served by a bookmobile: Me to Librarian: I've read everything in the children's section. Librarian replying: Ok - read anything you want from any section. And that's what all librarians should be free to do.
