Taking the atheist out of the church is one thing, removing the church from the atheist is a whole other ball game.

I learned something new! Natives in my neck of the woods (Western Washington) have a month named after frogs; their chorus signals (loud and clear!) the arrival of spring. 💚

Finally went back to church! I want to thank everyone who’s prayed for me and never gave up.

As I keep trying to explain to any MAGA head that will listen. Most of inflation was caused by COVID. That inflation has almost normalized. Now what you have is called greed-flation. Companies found out we would pay exorbitant prices bc of higher wages so *gasp* they decided not to lower prices

Now is a perfect time to remind everyone that Speaker Mike Johnson is complicit in the election lies that led to the January 6th insurrrection.

The attacks on Biden's age simply point out a misperception of governance. A competent administration delegates to experienced people specific tasks, and there is a clear line of succession. House Republicans serve Trump, not America, have no competence, and struggle to keep a line of succession.

It is probably too late but this is very very true

It's incredible that liberals in America still believe that a Joseph Welch "Have you no sense of decency?" moment is still possible. We live in a post-shame society. Violent fascists are celebrated for murdering marginalized victims. You're not going to shame or debate them into retirement.

Something I find curious about many of the atheist accounts I see online: despite having left their religion and/or church there appears to be a real tendency to evanglism - a trait many irreligious/atheist people tend to dislike.
