i want to like him because i’m a huge sucker for suicidal alcoholic detective with a veneer of nihilism trope but god he’s just so creepy towards women

the holden-miller combination liberal-cop buddy dynamic makes the entire first season borderline unwatchable for me, and i spent the entire second half of season three lamenting because liberals never kill the cops inside their heads
