We know so many people who have been advocating for this, and have been praying along with our Methodist friends as the huge splits and decisions have been happening. It is wonderful to finally be able to celebrate with them. ❤️❤️

I have a ton of friends who went on to become pastors in the Methodist church and it's such a good day for them.

The Methodist Church near my work has been flying a Pride flag for *years*– I bet they're celebrating today!

(It's cute, because they're across the street from the synagog that my partner attended as a child and both congregations fly big ol' Pride flags. It makes my heart happy.)

My Methodist pastor started same sex blessings for 20 years ago, I was so blessed to be part of such happening. This has been such a long fight, and so much suffering to get here.

Oh my goodness. My parents must be in a real bad state today. 😁

Many in our area are restructuring to *keep* the ban. One of them has a minister and their son who both have Grindr accounts.

It's been a long time coming, and I am rejoicing!
