It’s Chocolate Day! There’s all kinds of chocolate: baking, semi-sweet, milk, dark, bittersweet - but while there is a time and place for white chocolate, but it’s an imposter and does not belong on a list of chocolates. I like Left Twix and Kinder Schokolade; how about you?

We had storms and areas of town near us have had power outages since 1:30 and we still have an hour and a half to go according to the radar. I have several bags of trash that need to go out (some have food waste). Putting on my boots and gauging things . . .

I was dusting our piano, which hasn’t been played in at least six years, and not only is remarkably in tune, but I picked out the opening notes to Welcome to the Black Parade. I don’t play piano; I play violin (or did, I also haven’t played in almost twenty years)

Hi! Since we last posted to each other a few hours ago, I’ve listened to the entirety of Evermore, made a pitcher of sweet tea, and cleaned my half bath (except for mopping the floor which will come later when I do the full bath). After lunch I’ll be dusting and vacuuming in the living room.

Is a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel with a side of nacho cheese Doritos a traditional lunch? No, but - and this is key - I do not care. It’s tasty.
