So... are we calling our members of Congress about opening an impeachment process for Supreme Court justices? Thomas is the lowest-hanging fruit, but I kind of like the idea of going after Roberts. He has allowed corruption to flourish on the court he leads.

Circa 2003 I would salvage these from the trash for my test lab, load FreeBSD or SuSE Linux on them and hack my ass off. I was a fucking wizard in a Windows shop, I pnwned that whole org.
This Pentium II 350Mhz machine will be my Voodoo 3 3000 test rig, it's from exactly the right period - 1999.

Likewise, no one can "buy Wikipedia". WMF owns some servers and maintains some software that makes the wiki work, and they provide international legal defense for what's on the wiki, and some other incidental stuff, but to "own Wikipedia" is a non sequitur.
Trying to influence Wikimedia Foundation for content on Wikipedia is like trying to influence the electrical utility for content on CNN. WMF "owns Wikipedia" in the same sense that you own a laptop that shows you web sites.

The foundation that owns Wikipedia said it respects the decisions of volunteer editors after receiving a letter from Jewish groups calling on the foundation to override a move by editors to declare the Anti-Defamation League an untrustworthy source on Israel & Zionism. www.jta.org/2024/06/25/u...
Wikipedia’s operator rebuffs Jewish groups’ call to override editors on ADL trustworthiness - Jewish Telegraphic Agencywww.jta.org More than 40 Jewish groups told the Wikimedia Foundation that the decision to label the Anti-Defamation League "unreliable" makes the Jewish community less safe.

I saw my first cybertruck irl, in Santa Fe NM. It was dark brown. I try to be kind but honestly it looked like a low-rez graphic representation of a turd on wheels.

Software immortality "has long been explored in science fiction."  No plug for Rudy. Idea "was in the air."  Why did it take a PhD in Mathematical Logic, conversations with Kurt Godel, & 2 years research in Heidelberg to write SOFTWARE in 1980? In the air, my ass. www.rudyrucker.com/blog/2024/01...
