Something I'll say for Vance's prospects is that there are 20x as many white dudes in America who are from normal-ass suburbs but conceptualize themselves as hardscrabble small town rednecks as there are actual hardscrabble small town rednecks. Huge demographic!

Ever since I did my first deep dive on it, I tell people that if they have standardish padding on elements, reasonable color contrast, and nothing flickering or moving but they're still getting reports of migraines, make the line length shorter and the line-spacing wider and it will probably fix it.

One of the major issues with this site is still that the default likes required for a reply to appear in people's feeds is too low. On Discourse Days it makes it like walking through a school dinner hall where half the teenagers are faux raging at each other abd a bunch more can't resist butting in
