Really upping my daylight savings game by making sure to hit 3 time zones in a week.

Back in grad school I had conflicts with fellow grad students when I told them I wouldn’t do official business over Facebook messenger and wanted emails. So I wish this had been happening even earlier, bc I learned all my email etiquette through a job job.

The best part of back to back to back travel is the laundry logistics 🫠

My most niche complaint about the new Frasier is that they should have modeled the bar he and Alan hang out after Grendel's and if we're going to have some campus cat jokes I want the cat to be an orange tabby (iykyk).

In my boston neighborhood we have a new parking protected bike lane (it’s lovely! Yay safe infra!). It still regularly is useless bc cars double park in it, and park in the bus stop pull ins. We have a ped only red light on my street, cars run the red constantly. Infra alone cannot save us.

I never like it when JP loses a restaurant but the news about El Oriental de Cuba closing feels like so much more than just a loss of a restaurant.

I make fun of the spouse for having a -2 constitution, but I'm out here regularly rolling natural 1's while walking.

I got a co-authored paper team I'm on has been struggling to just send out to a journal yesterday, got R&R edits to co-authors in record time (for me) yesterday (and I think we won't need an extension!), and got a review done with *weeks* to spare on the deadline. Postdoc'ing does have its pros.

When your fave work cafe decides to go hard on 00's to 10's dance pop and your brain keeps being like wait we're at a colleg house party? I thought we were doing article revisions.

Thinking about the time I told a man in the laundromat I was working (in grad school I'd read books & articles while doing laundry) and he asked what my husband thought of that.
