Hoof Hearted? ( it’s funnier in a Scottish accent ) todays self indulgence is a sketch of Bud Neil’s Sheriff of Carlton Creek Lobey Doser. A popular newspaper strip in Post War Scotland it was a weird mixture of Cowboyscand Scottish Culture. Long out of print but has two statues and a gabel end.

Staggering towards the end like some slovenly behemoth. It’s mostly made up as I go along and I design the characters on the page which is fun but sometimes I box myself into a corner then have to work myself out of it.

Cancelled my Adobe subscription as it was up for renewal so it was pretty painless. I only really used it for scanning art and a bit of colouring. Will probably start using procreate but a can you letter and put projects together like in indesign if not what are folks using?
