Yeah, as I noted in ONE NATION UNDER GOD the movement to put the Ten Commandments in classrooms had broad support until they realized they’d actually have to pick one faith’s version to frame.

So, even within Christianity, the Ten Commandments aren't precisely the same across traditions — the text is translated and even *numbered* differently. This law appears to mandate the KJV version — a Bible translation entire Christian traditions reject. apnews.com/article/loui...

I talked about this (as a rank amateur) on my radio show years ago, and @byrontau.bsky.social has written a gripping book about this phenomenon. We are *not* having enough of a conversation about this, as Spencer points out.

Why are news organizations calling these guidelines “restrictions”? These are procedures to facilitate US intelligence buying your data in evasion of warrant requirements, not to stop them from doing so. Mostly they just have to get a supervisor’s approval.
