O'Flynn and Pearson, of course, know all about smug self-righteousness.

Used to work with O'Flynn on a regional newspaper way back when and went to his wedding. He seemed a decent sort, so no idea when he fell down a rabbit hole.

For a time he came across well when interviewed too - was never really aligned with him politically, but could respect the way he spoke and delivered his points. Seemed to drift slowly further and further off into Posters Madness though. Pearson is just a lunatic.

I think there's a decent chunk of the Tory party who count as far right, yes. Especially on their views towards immigrants and asylum seekers
