Update on this - I sent the book proposal out! 😱 So many shouts to @katinalynn.bsky.social for her help workshopping my work through the process. It really helped take an idea and a frustration and turn it into something that felt fleshed out and fulfilling to think about.
Tfw you finish your book proposal course with @katinalynn.bsky.social. Highly recommend working with her! Gave me a real jumpstart and now I’m excited to get this thing done.

For those who have asked: a huge f*cking alligator is reading the audiobook of Absolution in hisses and growling coughs. Just deal with it, okay. It's the end times. Listen to mah audiobook of grunts and clucks for 50 hours, okay? Just do it.
The cover for Absolution, out October 22, is amazing! Art by Pablo Delcan. Preorder now: us.macmillan.com/books/978037...

The latest goings-on in the Weird Barbie basement window diorama (Dundas St., Toronto) It's hard to photograph in the sunny weather, but . . . it's most definitely a coffee bar now, and Ken appears to have been hired as the hipster barista. It looks like a nice place to hang out quite honestly.
Uh oh, Ken is in the building … (Thus post also enables me to correct for the lack of alt text in my last post.)

The most important thing the far right came to learn about US politics is that the path to power goes through one of the two major parties. They built a lot of momentum for their cause by running against "the uniparty," but they produced Trumpism by playing the long game inside county & state GOPs.
The post-2016 journey of some Bernieworld hangers-on has been wild. The guy whose job it was to flip superdelegates from Hillary (none flipped) is now getting RFK Jr on the ballot. Tim Canova ran against DWS w Bernie support, he's now a crank liking "Michelle Obama is a MAN" posts. Also: TULSI.
