One of son’s class is dressed as the Scarlet Spider today. There’s a reasonable chance that at least one of *his parents* wasn’t born during the Clone Saga.

Has led to the weird sight of Spanish subs warming up to the sound of Joe Biden talking about a secret service review of Trump’s protection, tho.

Millions of men on social media on a hair trigger, waiting for a fluffed sitter by someone in tonight’s #euro2024 final, all desperate to do the “second biggest miss this weekend” gag first.

Anything to avoid spending a whole weekend in Clacton, I suppose.

Even more bored of this Trump story than the usual ones now. Move along. Move along.

Men only want one thing* and it’s disgusting**. * for the transmission version of Day of the Daleks to be on iPlayer. ** that the dvd “special edition” version is on there instead.

Yeah, everyone has already done all the reactions and Bluesky isn’t really for news stuff, but I was asleep, and I don’t do twitter. Back to nudging @jonnymorris.bsky.social to re-watch Day of the Daleks.

Now there are going to be people going around pretending Trump deserves to live. That’ll be tiresome.

I stay in the same hotel a few times a month, I've got a spreadsheet of rooms I've stayed in previous and always request a different one. Just so I can switch off the stupid Smooth Motion settings on all of the TV's so people can watch things how they were intended to be viewed.

I once saw something on a Wikipedia page, thought “That’s an interesting interpretation!” followed the link to the citation and it was a book I’d written.
I just saw a quote and was thinking, "Wow, that's a great quote" only to realize it was a quote from one of my novels. 😬

Think the highlight was noticing the Montrose sub forward - an 18 year old - had a perm AND mullet. He’s a moustache away from playing for a German side in the 1980s.

I love this programme. But I have met pretty much every person to whom it could possibly appeal, and have the personal phone numbers of a not insignificant percentage of them.
It's a real shame that no one remembers 'Dr. Terrible's House of Horrible', because - after Partridge - it's the funniest thing Steve Coogan's done. One of the great BBC Two comedies.
