The fact that regulators didn't step in and severely penalized Microsoft when they introduced the sad face blue screen in 2012 is why we're in this mess now.

The current procedure is: 1. Open the app 2. Navigate to a different menu than 'home' because that menu is broken on startup 3. Navigate back to home, select the show I want 4. Start the show 5. Wait for it to show one third of an ad before crashing 6. Restart 7. Repeat steps 1-4 8. Watch show

The Paramount Plus app is such an impressively broken piece of shit. Every time we want to watch an episode of something it's an increasingly longer series of hoops to navigate its awful mess of a UI.
