I expand my sim family the natural way, by inviting strangers into a hot tub, feeding them delivery pizza, and marrying them all in one afternoon, then drowning them for their life savings and starting over. Greg the Romancer could make more doing this than even endless gnome-making!

At home gnome-making was more lucrative in the Sims than being a CEO or president and I think the real economy should also work like this We had a parquet floored ballroom in the mansion with 4 carpentry benches and we just filled the whole thing with gnomes every day and lived like kings
