#Poem Here is my attempt. With a quote from one signatory I particularly respect. Abolitionist Benjamin Rush. A man of his time who saw slavery’s evil even at the beginning and pushed back against it. I think this one needs revision.

#TodaysBouquets Tried to keep the red white and blues in one bouquet with a few pops from yellow poppies. That’s my favorite from these.

#TodaysBouquet is going to my chiropractor’s office. And I think this Claude Monet sunflower shirt is perfect for delivering flowers, and my novel-in-verse!

My Ars Poetica poem for the summer writing soul. Written on the beach as we gathered (no joke) 40 conch shells. A tropical storm had swept through earlier. But that churn turned up a wealth of shells. The same can be true for story. #Poem #Poetry #Poet #Summer #ArsPoetica

Three bouquets today! And my neighbor dropped off some of her roses in this gorgeous globe vase.

Added three new shell paintings during the debate. Better than watching the convicted fraudster serial assaulter employ the Gish Gallop. I wish we as a country prioritized truth over showmanship.

Apparently I’m compelled to try water coloring shells this week. Painting and listening to podcasts.

So many yellow flowers in today’s blooms. But I only wanted a few pops of color in the arrangement for the table. So I gathered the others into two smaller vases and moved the purple succulent over with them. Now there’s sunshine in the living room too!

Today’s bouquet, in the beautiful case I picked up as a souvenir in the mountains. The Bachelor’s buttons are thriving! And look at all those dark purple cosmos! 😍

Couldn’t illustrate a picture book to save my life. But… I’ve had this little art growing in my brain for several weeks and finally took the leap to try if I could catch what I could see in my head. Poinsett Bridge
