The three bulgy bears probably have a bed and breakfast where they serve porridge that’s just right. The one who is a general has a dramatic portrait of himself at Caspian and Miraz’s duel.

Posting each day for these prompts is pushing me so far out of my comfort zone because I *know* many of the poems I’ve written are in need of lots of revision. But I’m pushing myself. 😅 revisions will come later. For now I’m going to enjoy the images and good lines as they come.

She turns a saucy face to sun asking if she’s finely done. Capreseous plans cluster close stemming what might most refresh the hot and hungry hands making dinner time demands. Olive oil and freshest cheese sea salt thin cut tomato, please.

I think #TodaysBouquet might have a little too much greenery. Too much hurry this morning prepping for a family get together. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! All from my garden, except the tea rose in the pink bouquet which is from my neighbor’s garden. When I brought her flowers she said to feel free to add some of her roses to future bouquets.

#Poem Here is my attempt. With a quote from one signatory I particularly respect. Abolitionist Benjamin Rush. A man of his time who saw slavery’s evil even at the beginning and pushed back against it. I think this one needs revision.

I haven’t previously.But I’ve regularly struggled with a bit of depression around birthdays so I decided this year I was going to build in things I love. Glimmers of joy. The things that keep me grounded and soul-filled. Reading and writing poetry is a big way to do that for me. ❤️

#TodaysBouquets Tried to keep the red white and blues in one bouquet with a few pops from yellow poppies. That’s my favorite from these.

Cameo from le chien in the background. 😄🐕 He’s a good boy who faithfully protects the back deck from squirrel incursions.
