Man, if it turns out that the right winger telling NY Times readers that they should follow his example and not vote did in fact vote in the last two elections, the Times should add this to the piece. Better than a retraction, since it illustrates a willful hypocrisy.

Wrote that he wouldn't vote again in 2019, was an "ex-voter:" theweek.com/articles/802... and then what do you know, he voted the very next year, then two years later: voted again. Then almost two years later, a barely rewritten article saying he definitely won't vote this time, honest

They've made it clear that their editorial standards for opinion pieces are "if a conservative says it, no need to fact check it, they might get offended, just run it as is"
