They won ON PURPOSE
The far right cope machine is already trying to manufacture a narrative about the massive loss the French fascists faced today. They are scared they can sense what’s coming to America and it’s not fascism. Popular fronts win and scare fascists. Keep them on the back foot they are weak and scared.

bad luck for biden to run in an electoral cycle where "are you old" is the most important issue instead of in one of the cycles where email security procedures or accuracy of vietnam war medal citations was the most important issue in the country.

Trump said “I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it.” But Project 2025 is run by Trump's closest aides, raising concerns about cognitive fitness for a candidate who seems unable to recall those around him. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/troubling-...

Johnny McEntee was Trump’s bag man, carrying around hair products and other essential items before being promoted to run the Presidential Personnel Office. It is doubtful if Trump spent more time with any other aide. But McEntee, now at Project 2025, has faded from Trump’s faltering memory it seems.

If you click on the training section of Project 2025, the first person you meet is Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s national press secretary. You can almost see the concern in her eyes as she stands by Trump, hoping that no reporters will ask her if she is troubled that he does not know who she is.

If Biden said something like this it would spell the end of not only his campaign but his current tenure. It's just one of countless examples of insane gibberish from Trump that the press & Democrats are choosing to treat as an immutable part of the electoral landscape rather than a story or issue.

The fact that there are some people who think of themselves as serious intellectuals who are writing headlines like these and nodding “neutrality is so important in these times” is so unbelievably funny to me like????
Trump: I want to murder my enemies with zero consequences. New York Times: Bold move, sir.

I do not know that the New York Times is consciously making decisions to make a Trump victory more likely, but the purpose of a machine is what it does.
I don’t even know where to begin with this.

As a side note, this is John McEntee, Trump's Director of White House Personnel and the primary architect of Project 2025. On Tik Tok he said he gives counterfeit bills to homeless people so they will be arrested when they go to spend them.

Setting aside the absolutely horrific inhumanity of this, uh, he apparently made a video where he admits to multiple very real federal crimes. Like, Secret Service should just go pick him up.

Weird* how he didn’t call for such punishment for those who violently stormed the seat of American government to try to stop the Constitutionally mandated transfer of power after a free and fair election *weird, but not surprising

"Executive Time" fell out of the coverage of Donald Trump in the most incredible way. Nobody writing about his quest to become president again ever mentions the fact that he hated the job when he had it and he couldn't and wouldn't really do it!
The discourse around biden needing more sleep is fully insane. Does no one remember "Executive Time," the thing Trump spent the majority(!) of his schedule on where he would just watch TV and tweet? Dude was categorically unable to fulfill any of the demands of the office and the press barely cared

(1) Yes, he can just pardon them. (2) He can then also hold that over the heads of government workers who resist while siccing the Justice Department on them. Don't want to go along? Well, you've got a problem, buster.
I don't understand this point. Trump can just pardon them.

also Trump's supporters have no idea what he's saying half the time! no one does! there's no need to overthink this. Trump is popular because he channels vibes-based grievances and wants to punish those groups who his supporters feel have wronged them. That's it.
Trump has never had a speech impediment, and if you read a transcript of his speeches, they make very little sense, if any. It is apparently elitist to point this out, because "his supporters know what he's saying." When you read what he says, this is basically advancing Trump as telepath.

They still, quite literally, have never reported in any section of their newspaper on the fact that Trump published Obama’s address to his violent supporters and an armed assassin showed up THE NEXT DAY.
