An aquarium the size of a small wall. Fill it up with coral and weird little fish and a small octopus. And kelp. And sea anemones. Also I would hire someone on retainer to maintain it because I have no idea how any of that stuff works. I just wanna sit and be hypnotized by undersea beauty.

if you won a million dollars what would be the first ridiculous thing you'd buy? something silly and pretty and fun for yourself. it can be small. I'd buy a hot pink e-bike or vespa, and give it pink marabou streamers.

How many of you have gone through a mental health hospital program? Intensive Outpatient Program (👋), Partial Hospitalization Program, Inpatient Program, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(👋), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, etc?

LETTERS FROM SPACE CAMP is my memoir about my month going through a mental hospital- but it's not a total bummer! The entire first draft is available to patrons and I'm currently redrawing a "nice" draft of a sample chapter to use for a book pitch. Public page: www.patreon.com/posts/letter...

I am so, so grateful for the care I got in my programs. The quality of my life is so much better now. I still have the same problems, the same brain, but they taught me coping skills that, at the least, reduce the suffering, and at best, have given me the ability to feel times of peace & happiness.

"an attention seeking sellout" is the least flattering way of saying "somebody who is self-employed and whose entire income relies on advertising their wares/skills in order to attract sales/commissions/etc from an otherwise indifferent public" This isn't the insult they think it is.

Like, pretty sure they just called you a hardworking professional.

Thank you! It was a trade I did with a website designer-person-- she commissioned this specific piece and in exchange she made me a real nice website, way back in the day. Oh wow, it was 2012. I painted them regular-size and then blew them up to fit the boards.

I was painting vegetables yyyyyyearsssssss before I started gardening. In fact, it's because I liked painting beets so much that I planted my own for the first time back in... like... 2019ish?
