I liked the flute album, that's kind of my thing, but listening to "Ms. Jackson" and "Hey Ya" back to back makes me sad that Outkast just stopped making new music and never resumed, there's no way they were out of ideas.
I totally forgot about that weird-ass soundtrack album they made after Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, did I even hear this when it was first released? I know I didn't see the movie.
Actually I can say something pretty good about it as a movie. I'm pretty sure I watched the whole thing without me getting embarassed. That doesn't happen very often with musicals
Wasn't in choir but I was supposed to have the lead in a musical in high school, ended up in a supporting role instead and I'm still a little bitter about that. 😝
It has some great tracks, like this one. Also sad that they didn't continue with Outkast. I like both andre and big bois solo stuff as well but it was in the collab the magic happened.
