The dogpiling on J bouie was from a pretty eclectic crew including many non-white, non-trans people, and I was against it, but the resulting discourse is always "white trans women bad" if there's ever a trans woman involved at all.
If we said “be nice to bearded ladies,” would trans women connect with this? Most trans women don’t wear beards! A lot of trans women spend a lot of time and energy removing their facial hair entirely
We spend hours to try to remove or conceal our beards, and if some people were to *center the discourse* on the *fact* we have beards, that could and would hurt people!!
If, after a month of “be nice to bearded ladies,” someone finally said “be nice to ladies who shave every day,” you might feel some gratitude, but you might also feel like shit!

this skeet is kind of the response to the month of “be nice to penis women.” I had bottom surgery this have been reading this and feeling a twisting pit every time. “You don’t belong with us”

I think I can accurately call myself a homewrecker bc telling trans people “your ex you live with thinks you’re a couple even though you believe you broke up and believes they have control over your body and heart” … yea I ruined everything :)
