This month’s been rough with the deaths so far. Aside from Shelly DuVall, Dr. Ruth, and Richard Simmons (the three celebs), I had one personally affect me last week, too (my middle school PE teacher, who I consider the best PE teacher I ever had, died last week). Just too much.

We had the most wonderful lettering/cleanup guy helping us. Went by "Fender" at the time, I haven't been able to get ahold of him in years. He did the occasional edit of the strips. And they're basically for the most part canon. Miss you Fender, wherever you are.

Someone once told me that by charging pennies for decent quality art, I'm letting my customers expect that other artists with similar quality should also charge pennies, and it helped me a bit to stop undervaluing myself.

Neighbors are shooting off fireworks in the alley. Haven't bought any in years. Just not into it anymore, not like I used to be. At any rate, I gotta work in an hour. Everyone be safe out there.
