Up until 2 weeks ago I was faculty & ran a neuroscience research lab. New Me: program officer for the NIH in a branch focusing on training & development. Getting to make an impact on career development by working with trainees & faculty running training programs is a much better fit fit me.

Boring life tip: Do laundry right after work on Friday because the basement machines will be empty and you won't have to worry about the weekend crowding! And you'll still have time to have a Friday night.

New respirators came!

My fave respirator is the Vitacore CAN99 N95! Just ordered another batch of these headband-style trifold masks. What's your fave mask during our ongoing pandemic?

Took Izzy to the vet for a semi-annual checkup, as is appropriate for a 14-year-old baby. (You may post your own soft babies in the replies, should you feel so inclined.)

Remember that one reason to avoid Covid (may we all be so lucky and do what we can to help ourselves here) is that there aren't good (or any?) treatments for long Covid yet. We're better off giving scientists & clinicians more time to figure this shit out before getting sick (again and again)🤞🏻😷🤒
