i’m sure i wasn’t the only person to realize this about anne rice, stephanie meyer, and el james when fifty shades of grey came out but good luck finding a funnier or more on point description of it lmao

My 7yo niece had my mom call me in a panic because she saw all the flooding on TV, trying to reassure her I'm fine without straight up lying, but ALSO not mentioning that the fire department cut gas to my apartment for a leak, my apartment still smells like sulfur, and my landlord is AWOL

Then I grabbed my phone to take a picture of it

I couldn't tell what everyone was subtweeting about so I just typed "news" into Google again

One bad summoning ruins it for everyone.

My mom sweetly checked all the thrift and pawn shops in her town for a vintage walkman I mentioned I'm interested in, and the guy at one tried to hype her up on brand new $40 USB powered one from Amazon. Parents just don't understand!

Instead of working on Renters Market or finishing my OSAP application I spent all day ripping apart my apartment looking for my health card, and then standing in line to get a new health card. I did not know that my doctor of a decade would charge me a whole bunch of money for being sloppy. 😩
