Feel like the people saying Biden's "humanitarian" pier in Gaza scheme will be ineffective PR are being too optimistic. Most US humanitarian interventions eventually spiral into the US shooting at the ostensible beneficiaries of the humanitarian intervention...

It’s been long enough since 7 October that UK papers have gone back to their bread and butter: uncritical reporting of the current gov’s plan to ban free speech alongside articles on how in order to be free we must have random undergrad essay competitions debating the existence of trans women
