It might not be good time to publish, but it sure is a good time to write!

Me: Why is publishing so miserly and aloof when it comes to comics?? It’s impossible to sustain a career doing this, I’m tired and broke and each book takes several years to complete!! 😣 Also me: *working on 3 more comic pitches* 🕺

I'm taking a time out with short story & ghostwriting for other fiction projects. I get paid, don't have to deal with publishers who do things like have you sign a contract, claim there are delays due to the pandemic, then 5 years later dump the book and blame you, saying the book is bad.

I struggle with this and have been for months now. Hard to really engage in any kind of long term creative project. Oh well!
