I have at times wondered if some parts of my life might be a warning to others I'd like to note that this is one of those times. Carbonating pickle juice ruins it. That is all.

I find it funny how humanity intentionally spoils (ferments) certain foods as a fancy preparation that costs more time and money, and then when other foods ferment in the packaging all on their own, at the store or in our fridges, people panic and throw it away before it can burn the world down.

We run a delicious knife edge between "oh that tastes interesting!" and being doubled over in pain with liver failure.
