I've been a Maru fan since the beginning! I worry about him at 17 because my oldest cats were both 16 when they died, but he still seems to be doing fine, altho a little slower than he used to be, and scrooching into beer boxes instead of diving headlong through them. He's always been such a nut!

My favorite weirdness when he was young was sticking his head into something – usually something opaque – and then walking around the house bumping into walls and furniture. Why?!? Sometimes he'd really jam his head in and couldn't get it off 😂
That and diving through the beer boxes, of course!
