God help me I’ve been reading up on Le Pen’s grotesque policy preferences and I can’t find literally anything Trump is to her left on and she’s a literal Nazi

It's a hugely underrated aspect of his rise/normalization that he took over the existing conservative party, rather than create his own far right party like every European fascist had to do. It's easier for pundits to speak realistically about RN being fascist than to say the same about the GOP.

If only it were true, the medias owned by a billionaire with far right views say Le Pen is just right wing, but the left is far left and extremists. And this false statement (official institutions reaffirm that the only extremist party is Le Pen) is upheld by the government.
