I would venture to bet he's an x-republican, but I haven't seen his voter registration card. He certainly doesn't act like a current Republican party member.
He was a conservative Republican. And he may very well still be a conservative Republican however he is voting Democrat and working and donating to Joe Biden‘s campaign. He has a unique view of the party, which is why I posted that question that he never answered!
How will those convictions in which he is entangled, even if not directly in all of them, affect the guidelines for his sentencing? Would he have the mercy of a first offense because of criminal vs civil courts?
