Wow. It was ages ago when I was there (couldn't dive). The best snorkel spot we found, per the Hoover book, was Oluwalu, although maybe it is damaged now

Oluwalu is amazing as long as there's no water motion whatsoever. Most of the bottom is silty clay so visibility disappears rapidly. Can be a bit sharky, but they mind their own biz mostly. :)

Sharks??? Omg I wish but I never saw one in Hawaii

Easiest place to see white-tips are the caves just off Makena. Tigers, you won't see, they're too good at not being seen. :)

White tips pretty common there in my experience.

I never had that much luck there. Plus I don’t mind sharks except the tigers.
