I’m in Astoria, noted hotspot of violence, and during the 2020 BLM protests the NYPD would do circles over the neighborhood every night from 12-1 am, almost on the dot. I imagine they have scheduled flights over other neighborhoods as well. Very helpful, thank you for your service.
