The (first?) death in The Acolyte episode 1 is pretty god damn annoying. Glad I was spoiled on it.

I liked Before Sunset more than Before Sunrise. Gave Delpy so much more to work with, was about so much more than Hawke flirting

RFK Jr. is the Mark Ruffalo in “Poor Things” of politicians. Just abjectly and publicly pathetic and needy.

Sitting right by two middle aged white guys in a diner. One guy said, “Somebody tried to kill Trump.” The other guy said, “He’s such a dick.” They both grunted affirmation, then started talking about Shōgun. Later, they explained the timeline of Better Call Saul to each other.

I was going to be annoyed about something last week that seemed like very weird behavior. But I waited to see it play out, and it all made sense. People just be awkward and bad at explaining their motivation.

Not sure if this counts, but trying to do the best I can.

I really wish I could care about Castle and his new boys, but I automatically tune out whenever I see any of them. They're not helping fix my "Collision is AEW's house show" argument.

After 5 amazing years at CNN, I’m being laid off as part of a wider re-org. I’m so grateful for the whole team here. We broke news and helped people make sense of it. I’ll stay a few months, then take time to rest and reflect. Call if you need a tech/telecom policy person!

Bluesky is okay with not being big. So it gets a pass for its failings. Threads, an utter shithole bastard child of Facebook and LinkedIn? Worse than Twitter by the largest margin for always resetting to For You, and shoving dogshit like this at you because someone you follow engaged with it.
