Ironically, Jira (a popular piece of software development management software) has a kerning issue wherein "click" looks like "dick", and let me tell you, when testing software one tends to click a lot.
If I remember my comics history correctly, didn't some publishers ban the use of "flick" because of this lettering problem? (Obviously, this publisher was okay with it.)
Can't recall if I read that in All in Color for a Dime or one of the Steranko histories.
I've seen that claim before, and at least one book (Batman Unmasked by Will Brooker) has stated is as fact. I don't know if publisher made it an official policy, but I suspect several had it as a de facto one.
