I did Queen of Diamonds, but with my own fabrics. This will be the first time I get fabric block of the month shipments. I will inevitably go off book and wander into my own stash...

Yeah, I just don't have any desire to make the exact same quilt as 100 other ppl. But my Tula Pink/Kaffe Fassett/Alison Glass/ Anna Maria Horner/Heather Bailey stash is pretty deep and all blends nicely.

I am insanely bad at the very precise color wash quilts for this reason - I can’t keep anything straight and just end up going my own way. I think it will be gorgeous.

Nope. It's a good-size lap quilt, and it will definitely get used as such.

That’s really good. I may be scarred from when my mom tried to use my full-size 2500+ piece scrappy one to protect her couch.
