On this 4th of July, I'm grateful not only for the founding of an independent nation, but also that my ancestors chose to immigrate here when they were persecuted for their religion and culture in Europe. The least I can do is to urge America to welcome those in danger in their native countries.

At the height of the pandemic, I was able to smooth the awkwardness of Zoom parties with musical performances. This is my song "Virtual Troubadour." youtube.com/shorts/XfxSP...

Happy Father's Day! Here's a video my dad made with me. He wrote a poem about cycling with a concept for a video featuring smooth motion from his helmet cam. I developed the poem into a rock song... It's called "Super Clean Escape Machine." 🎸🚴‍♀️ youtu.be/5irlyWgJgCM?... #FathersDay #cycling #music
Super Clean Escape Machine-Official Video-by Jason Didneryoutu.be NJ rock singer/songwriter Jason Didner (https://jasondidner.com) collaborated on this one with his father Bob, who wrote the poem that became the lyrics and directed the video. Bob is an aficionado of motion cinematography; he delights in the wide availability of technology only the cutting-edge Hollywood studios had until recently. The song extolls the many benefits of riding a bike and is on the rock album "Salt and Sand: Rock Songs to Heal the Mind." (https://jasondidnermusic.bandcamp.com/album/salt-and-sand-rock-songs-to-heal-the-mind) (c) 2021, Lyrics by Bob Didner and Jason Didner, Music by Jason Didner Lyrics: Verse 1: I love riding on my bike It brings me feelings that I like My excellent escape machine That helps me keep our planet clean. I love the energy it brings And clarity, it gives me wings. My bike's a pal I animate We roll, I chill and concentrate. We glide down city streets and country trails Motion casts its spell and never fails Chorus: My super clean escape machine My super clean escape machine I’m off the grid and on the scene On my super clean escape machine Verse 2: We can go from near to far Rolling cleaner than a car It cleans my arteries and mind And lets me leave my cares behind. We squeeze through narrow passage ways. And windy paths, on sunny days. We can ride by stunning sights Or savor balmy moonlit nights We glide down city streets and country trails Motion casts its spell and never fails Chorus: My super clean escape machine My super clean escape machine I’m off the grid and on the scene On my super clean escape machine Bridge: Pedaling fast or coasting slow We’re flying low - flying low

Have you seen my official video "People Against the Abuse of Acronyms (PAAA)?" - a good song for a #Monday youtu.be/GWJ9C0P2-SY?...
Jason Didner - People Against the Abuse of Acronyms (PAAA) - Official Videoyoutu.be Join the PAAA movement at https://jasondidner.com/people-against-the-abuse-of-acronyms-paaa My wife Amy and I have long had a running joke about a fictitious organization, "People Against the Abuse of Acronyms (PAAA)" but hadn't considered making it a song until just a year ago. It went through several rewrites until we felt we got it exactly right. (c) 2023, Lyrics by Jason Didner and Amy Didner; Music by Jason Didner Lyrics: I got an ETA from my GPS IMHO, it’s a jumbled mess Abbreviations everywhere on my TV I wanna take this up with the FCC I'm gonna start an organization To get a handle on this situation We're People Against the Abuse of Acronyms Too many terms to know People Against the Abuse of Acronyms Most of 'em got to go People Against the Abuse of Acronyms We're laying down the law People Against the Abuse of Acronyms Just call us PAAA IDK what these things all spell When I see ‘em online or IRL Scrolling through TMI all day If anyone needs me I’ll be AFK Meeting with my organization To beat back this abomination We're People Against the Abuse of Acronyms Too many terms to know People Against the Abuse of Acronyms Most of 'em got to go People Against the Abuse of Acronyms We're laying down the law People Against the Abuse of Acronyms Just call us PAAA ============================ Vocals, guitar, bass, drums by Jason Didner.
