We spent $365 to build an AI news site that publishes 50 times a day, plagiarizes directly from our original reporting, uses services like Fiverr and popular WordPress plugins, is SEO optimized for Google and Adsense & breaks the rules of none of them www.404media.co/i-paid-365-6...
I Paid $365.63 to Replace 404 Media With AIwww.404media.co Paying a freelancer on Fiverr to create a plagiarizing ChatGPT-powered news site revealed an industry of middlemen and services trying to game Google Search.

Good grief. We're all going to have to start reading paper books/newspapers again, aren't we? (Presumably this is why the right wing are attacking libraries big time, because they can tell what's coming.)

Why, you can also generate and print books and newspapers with fake content. A bit more effort, but certainly possible.

Not even much effort if they use a POD service with dropshipping, which is what most of those junk content generators do

“…and as far as I can tell, accurate…” How was that tested?

Considering how often journalists simply copy information from companies' blog posts or press releases and manage to get basic details that they copied wrong, is having AI generate news stories actual worse than what it is replacing in many instances?
Before journalists complain about AI, maybe they should address their own shoddy work. Like this: Here is the Bleeping Computer's Bill Toulas claiming that Wordfence discovered something, but the Wordfence blog post he cites states right at the beginning that someone else did.

I found an LLM service that will give you their content farm software for free, but on the condition that they take 25% of your affiliate sales.
