I asked Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), who has previously called on Menendez to resign, for any comment on Menendez now filing to run for reelection as an independent.
Fetterman’s office provided this response, directly from the senator:
Trump declares the GOP is the “party of fertilization" in an apparent attempt to argue that Republicans have been here protecting women's access to IVF.
But not only is that false, he lost his point completely in this indecipherable word salad:
Incredible to see so many women outside the Supreme Court yesterday, protesting attacks on medication abortion, who have been at this for 5 or 6 fuckin decades.
This is Susan, who is 85 and undergoing skin cancer treatment.
And yet, there she was. Her shirt says V-O-T-E.
At one point, Biden went up to a bunch of top military officials, singled out one and tapped his fist on his chest.
"I keep telling him, he’s got to work on his pecs!”
😂
I looked at archived versions of Britt's campaign website from May 2022 til now, and she's gradually watered down and ultimately erased language reflecting her stance on abortion, being pro-life + IVF.
Here are screenshots of where she says she stands on these issues, from May 2022 vs this week.
“Dear Melania, I LOVE YOU!” Trump says in a Valentine’s Day letter to his wife in a Wednesday campaign email.
And then, the poetry begins.
“Even after every single INDICTMENT, ARREST, and WITCH HUNT, you never left my side."
Trump also says if his Valentine's Day letter inspired you to want to “SEND YOUR LOVE” to Melania, go ahead and give him some cash!
Specifically, $47 if you think he's “the greatest president of all time!”
Or 20 bucks and some change is cool, too. BECAUSE LOVE.
A sampling of the kinds of things Robinson wrote on Facebook, specially on MLK Day, over the years.
“Hey John Lewis, Just because you got beat up by some Democrats in 1965 doesn’t mean you can’t get criticized by some Republicans in 2017."
One thing I am grateful for is that we collectively take a day to think about what we're all grateful for.
It's also a good time to learn what the "First Thanksgiving" was actually about. americanindian.si.edu/nk360/inform...
That Noah’s Ark amusement park was eventually built in Kentucky.
As of 2017, it was receiving $18 million in tax incentives.
Here is its life-sized replica of Noah's Ark, which is based on the Genesis flood narrative in the Bible.
GOP Reps. Andy Biggs and Jim Jordan have also been out here criticizing Biden for not providing more resources in response to the Maui wildfires.
Let's see how they've voted on funding for preventing and responding to wildfires. Oops!
Waaay too meta: A Pence email, saying Pence is capitalizing on Trump's indictment by selling 'Too Honest' merchandise, linked to a story about Pence capitalizing on Trump's indictment by selling 'Too Honest' merchandise, while trying to sell you on 'Too Honest' merchandise. 😵💫
Trump's latest fundraising email, a day after being indicted for conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
"Would you be my dinner guest?"
Here in Dublin, a guy is on TV talking about how Sinead O'Connor was so amazing because she was rooted in the bel canto operatic style of singing from her whole body, and how that's the approach Tony Bennett took too, and I could watch this analysis all day.
She was the coolest, most powerful female singer I'd ever seen as a teenager. She showed me that I didn't have to fit into stereotypes of what a girl is supposed to look like. No one will ever match the force of her voice.
RIP to Sinead O'Connor, you bold, tormented, punk rock warrior. 🙏🏼
Last night's Congressional Women's Softball Game raised ~$590K for young survivors of breast cancer. A record. ⚾️🙏🏼
Thanks for everyone's support.
Also here is the Second Gentleman visiting the #BadNewsBabes dugout. I asked for game advice: "Don't panic."
An unintentionally hilarious email from the Heritage Foundation, here on day two of Pride Month, lamenting all that conservatives have to "endure" for the month.
