Ambiguous headline. Was he condemning the appalling act or the appalling marksmanship? 🤔

A party in the woods that I went to last night. This was so good. Washed the smoke and ash from the fire pit out of my clothes today!

I've had a great weekend. Bought a new fridge, went to a party in the woods, took a walk in a country park, played a video game, and then cooked dinner.

Trans women aren't socialized male. They're socialised as girls who are exposed to the toxic masculinity that men think women can't hear. We get to hear all the things they'll do to us when we transition.

Today in "guys who can't take a hint" I stopped talking to this guy last year because he was hopeless at arranging dates, continually cancelling, but he's trying again. I only met him once in person. He was utterly useless and unreliable then and doesn't seem any better now.

What is the best episode of tv you've ever watched? "The 12 Days of Christine" still haunts me and no matter how many times I watch it, the ending always breaks me. If you haven't seen it, go watch it. It's a completely stand-alone episode in a BBC anthology series called "Inside No 9".

Starmer is technically correct when he says trans people with a GRC don't have a right to access single sex spaces. But neither do cis people. Single sex spaces aren't a right. They're an exception to equality which permits service providers to offer single sex spaces. It doesn't require them.

Hoping the rain stops soon.. Local festival today and it's going to be a mud bath.

Binge-watched all six episodes of Supacell. I absolutely loved every minute of it. Tosin Cole is so good.

I've been biting my tongue for the last few days but I need to say this. Gaslighting victims by saying they remember it wrong is exactly what happened to me eight hours after I was raped. And now I can't stop thinking about that.

Possibly the weirdest thing to happen this week was seeing myself on a Doctor Who trailer. I mean, I was there. It's definitely me. Or at least my previous incarnation.

It's been raining for hours.

And while I've never been a Tory, I'm glad Caroline Nokes held her seat. I wrote to her once about the transphobia in the Tory party and she was very supportive in her response.

It's nice to finally have an MP who doesn't want to strip my rights, refute my legal recognition and endanger my life.

On this day 11 years ago, this trans woman visited 10 Downing Street. I'd only just started transition about a month before.

Today's the day when UK voters can change the flag colour of the Tories in charge.

According to Sky, the LibDems have ‘one last stunt’ ready for the end of the campaign. They're talking Sunakh for a walk in the time vortex

Trying to get my head around Labour's stance on trans people, specifically trans women. The position seems to be that trans women shouldn't have any right to access single sex spaces for women with this implication that they should use men's spaces, regardless of the danger this puts them in.

I had the most amazing dream I was doing training for some clandestine espionage organisation and in the end I had to outwit my own colleagues by avoiding eating the poisoned food and then faking my own death to expose the villain. I love my brain sometimes.

Labour's policy on trans people is to make legal transition easier, but also to make legal recognition absolutely worthless as they're determined to treat trans people as their birth assigned gender regardless.

Labour has lost four votes in my house alone because of this one policy. They'll still win, but they are in the same pocket of the right wing think tanks as the Tories are.
Don’t vote Labour. Tell your friends. Tell your family. If they have any consideration for you as a trans person, as a person at all, tell them that they should not vote Labour: www.thenational.scot/news/2442494...

The wild thing about this is that Starmer, once the top lawyer in the UK, is just plain wrong about this. The equality act is clear about this and there are multiple examples of case law stating exactly that trans women have the right to use single-sex spaces aligning with their gender identity.

I'm getting really pissed off with the NHS cavalier attitude to STI testing. It seems to have been outsourced to a service that doesn't have adequate capacity to meet demand. They have a limited number of kits per day and if you can't order at exactly midnight you can't get tested.
