Jim Jordan, who actively participated in efforts to steal the election and turned a blind eye to sexual abuse of young men in his care, is running for Speaker.
Republicans want to be represented by Trump (legally responsible for sexual assault/finger rape), Jordan (covered up years of sexual assault) and Gaetz (took minor across international border to have sex with her/lied about adopting teenage Nestor). What is wrong with these people?
There’s such a range of sexual assault, I felt it was necessary to be clear we’re not talking about slapping someone on the ass - not that that is acceptable despite most of us having experienced it. In another state he would have been found liable of rape, not sexual assault.
If I had a nickel for every time a wrestling molester became Speaker of the House, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Only a party that has already made a serial child molester, Dennis Hastert, Speaker of the House would be seriously considering Jim Jordan for the job.

I'm having a VERY difficult time imagining Jordan as Speaker. It's unfathomable to me that someone with THAT horrible a record on basic facts could ascend...

Seems likely to me that enough of the same Republicans who said "sick of fucking around with these wack jobs" about Gaetz, will refuse to vote for Gym Jordan.
Jordan is basically mainstream for the House GOP these days. He (and Scalise) might have some problem with the Frontliners, for sure, but there’s also a decent chance he'll be McCarthy's pick
