Bailey is cold, but determined to be warm.

Bailey has a tiny birthday cake, and he enjoyed it a lot while sitting on Mum’s lap.

Here is a portrait of the birthday boy. This having your photo taken is a tiring thing, so he’s now curled up on my lap, and enjoying a chest scratch.

Jasper, doing his Falkor the Luck Dragon impersonation.

Speaking of The Lady & The Unicorn, the lion below would be mine if I were a tattoo person. My favourite medieval lion. (Picture taken at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in 2018, during the time the tapestries were on loan from the Cluny.)

Now which song from the 1980s is going through my inner stereo right now?

Another 100 days. My command of French grammar is still not the best, and hanging around for another 300 days to round things off to 2000 probably won’t change that.

This is the #proofofdog equivalent to @garius.bsky.social’s #proofofcat. So: here’s Jasper & Bailey, our cavoodles.

Am prepared to get the other 50 days to get to 1700, but I’m wondering if I should stop after that & let the streak break, and have a break from the insistence every day. While I’d like to get to 2000, that’s the best part of year away as yet.

Jasper trimmed, and happier for it in this weather. Where’s this storm that is supposed to happen today? He’ll be even happier if the humidity dies off more.

Looks like a storm is brewing. The BoM said it might, but we said we’d believe it when we saw it. From what the clouds look like, it’s on its way.

Here’s our old boy. He’s always happier now when he’s stopped panicking because the surface under his feet isn’t threatening to tip him onto his tummy any longer. Oh matey. Dunno what they’ll say tomorrow at the vet, but I don’t know how much longer you can put up with this.
End of feed.
