Totally agree. It shouldn't just be a right to repair, but responsibility to repair being legislated. Give carrots to companies that design repairability into their product. Give the stick to those who make it difficult to fix, either through info hoarding or poor design.

Please, Coyote, understand this is what you're arguing for here. I hope you can see why this is bad for individuals and also society. No corporation should have that much control over how their products get used or repaired.

I believe this is less of a problem than people think, actually. "Crossover" is a meaningless term. People think they're buying SUVs but they're really buying slightly lifted hatchbacks. And they're not really any bigger than the Camrys of 20 years ago.

'Truly' really nice olive oil. Good enough as a finish evoo, but cheap enough to cook with ($.80/floz.). 3L lasts 6+ months and still tastes fresh at the end. 🍜

🔌💡 Question for Energysky. Are there any orgs looking at homes, buildings, etc. In terms of energy/area (ex. Joules per sqft.)? Coupled with occupancy or utilization rates, I feel like this is a really intuitive way to measure a building's "greenness".
