My son had a basketball training session at my old high school. Turns out there's a photo of my 1988 basketball team on the gym walls. #12 middle back.

Before they became the Denver Nuggets, they were the "Denver Rockets," and I think the Rockets' old logo might be my favorite old-timey sports logo. Look at this guy! A giant, anthropomorphic rocket dribbling a basketball. The Houston Rockets could never.

Spent a very pleasant night at Artisan Park (near sofala) all sorts of weird antiques and surplus army gear turned into sculptures

Kraftwerk was on the way to buy a pickup and start a landscaping business before they saw this ad

Went for a walk out along linden ridge with the vague idea of looking for an engraving of an echidna somewhere near the Mt Twiss turnoff. Didn't see that engraving but did spot some grinding grooves in a spot that seems to hold water for several days after rain. So much history has been lost.

New Boards of Canada album just dropped:

I've started rewatching deadloch (2nd time round for me, 1st time for my partner) and it actually holds up to repeat viewing a lot better than I thought - even when you know the ending, there's a lot of little details and running gags to pick up on that I missed first time round.

Last minute packing before heading down to Albury for a week watching my boy play basketball. Not sure my clothes are embarrassing (for him) enough so will need to hit up the local kmart for some more loud shirts.
