Wait, you don’t have a right to counsel in pre-sentencing interviews in NY? That’s shocking although perhaps it shouldn’t be.

I'd really like Trump to see the inside of a jail cell, but I'm debating if "every defendant gets to claim the same indulgences he got in his trial" would be an acceptable consolation prize.

Apparently Cult45 was allowed to have a lawyer present AND over video. Completely unheard of. Yet it continues to complain about the same judicial process it enjoys unprecedented relief from. 😤

Are those interviews public? I would have loved to know what Trump might have said without an attorney present.

Did we ever get Blanche’s letter requesting it? All I recall is the court’s response granting it.
