It's the ultimate irony of this. If Biden does have to drop out, it'd be because of the maelstrom of negative coverage about the debate waaaaay more than the debate itself. (Which is why I think he *should* drop out fwiw, because the knives are just absolutely out for Biden in the media now.)
This isn't going away because he is actually sick. Only he can make the story go away by proving he can do nighttime interviews answering questions he doesn't know beforehand. If he could do that he would have.
