To be honest…I’m not there yet. Driving around here is a PTSD trigger. I want a bike but I’m not sure I’m capable of using one on the same roads as these lunatics.
That’s fair. I use my bike as a way to combat my vehicle-related PTSD but I’ve also been working on it for 15+ years to get here. And I’m STILL not loving the metro Boston roads.
It’s weird but the suburbs are worse for me. I expect people to drive like aggressive lunatics in town. I’m always shocked how they drive on a two lane “country” road.
Ten years of paying close attention to every vehicle looking for traffic violations has not made life here easy for me.
