I love the movie Jaws and I also hate how it's made sharks into scary monsters in our minds. People are routinely seriously hurt or killed by livestock but we go to farms no problem... meanwhile shark incidences are *extremely* rare in Canadian history, but some folks won't swim. 💔

Another after-work evening with @matteffinturner.bsky.social at Stanhope - the water was 20C, calm, jellyfish-free, the loveliest breeze and perfect temp. Then the sky shifted, darkened to purples, and we got to watch a spectacular lightning show from the car. It was AWESOME 😍 (I even had popcorn 🍿)

Interesting, on the radio just now from a psychologist. We each have on average 13 secrets, five that we will never tell anyone. And those five are almost always around being attracted to certain people/genders. lol.

Argyle Shore was very pretty this evening but I have to confess - I'm a desperate north shore snob! I missed the clearer water of the north shore - a jellyfish snuck in the churned up clay and stung me 🤕
