A lot of people are choosing to look away right now in the face of something that is making Doctors Without Borders say things like this

So I'm the type of person who will (carefully) rabbit hole if there's something wrong with my cat. I want to try to find a way to help them, and to understand as well as I can so I know what questions to ask. And right now absolutely nothing is giving me hope that Sweet Pea will be fine.

I was hoping to do one of those “paintings” where you put blobs of paint on a canvas, put it in a baggie, then sprinkle catnip on top to get your cat to roll on it and squish it, but Seeet Pea just stands on it and licks it 😅

Just got a call from the vet. Sweet Pea’s meds are “within therapeutic range” but she was within range last time when she had an adverse reaction. The vet is still leaning towards cancer.. so it’ll be X-rays and an ultra sound.

OOOH it's the first episode with the borg!

TWISTER is such a great movie. The good storm chasers have sensors that are balls, which are round and wholesome, and the bad storm chasers have sensors that are cubes, the most evil shape.

I had such a stressful dream. Sweet Pea was in Halifax and I had to come to PEI quickly, so left her. But when we arrived on pei, the person driving had their license revoked, stranding Sweet Pea with no-one to give her meds. I was utterly FRANTIC to get back to her but had no way.

i think people who buy cars and trucks above a certain size should have a special registration that bans them from driving on old narrow streets and if i catch them there i get to blow them up with my bazooka. i also have a bazooka in this scenario

Another north shore evening swim and more treasures! The tide was uncooperative so I didn’t think I’d find any. We went to Stanhope this time just for a “quick” dip. (The only thing quick is the drive tbh)

I was so very spoiled in Halifax. When we did a blood test for her anti seizure meds, they had the results before I walked out the door. The clinic here has to send it to AVC which will take about a week. Had I known this, I would have hit the alarm a lot sooner.

We‘re at the vet again and there’s a very sweet, but VERY stressed golden retriever here and oh my HEART! I just want to snuggle him and tell him it’s ok 😭
