No shit, I sure did. I own a tiny plot where I'm at but I sure can't, on a whim, build some additional edifice without leaping giant permit hurdles and, if that works out, paying some hefty fees.
The real follow-up will be in a year or so when it’s still on the parents land because local planning laws means that it can’t be put on just any leased piece of land.
Luckily once you are in a tiny home you are one of the little people. Nimbys gonna Nimby. And never underestimate the weaponised pettiness of the elder nzmca members.
